This mask is a beautiful piece of art of Mr. Ngoc Vong. The mask is carved from a huge block of wood. The dept of the mask is 5" curving all the way from the nose to the ears. Mr. Vong hand painted the mask to create the green devil's skin with all the details. The expression of the mask is striking and .. alive!
These masks are made by the famous vietnamese artist Ngoc Vong. They are made out of wood and hand painted by the artist. He is one of the few mask masters living in Hanoi, north of Vietnam. 
His masks are inspired by the Vietnamese theatrical characters. Each mask is hand made with passion. 
We were lucky to be able to watch him working in his small workshop in Hanoi where this colletion come from.
