These masks are made by the famous vietnamese artist Ngoc Vong. They are made out of wood and hand painted by the artist. He is one of the few mask master living in Hanoi, north of Vietnam. His masks have strong characters inspired by the Vietnamese theatre characters or by different identities of different groups of people. We were amazed to watch him working in his small workshop in Hanoi where this colletion come from. | |||||||||
