"Xich Lo" is the Vietnamese name for this vehicle. You can call it Vietnamese Cyclo. Cyclo is the unique kind of transportation vehicle of Vietnam. You cannot find it anywhere else but Vietnam. Cyclo is invented by french in the early coninial days, 19th century. It is the combination of the traditional man pulling carriage and the bycle mechanism. This was the popular transportation vehicle in the cities of Vietnam until the area of automobile (scooters and cars.) They are still popluar in Vietnam for tourists.
